Island delivery is offered to Amazon Prime members for our Portland, Maine, store to all islands serviced by the Casco Bay Lines and the Cushings Island Ferry. To place an order, follow the instructions below.
1. Amazon Prime customers can place a PICKUP order to the Portland, Maine, store (2 Somerset St., Portland, ME 04101) on Amazon.com opens in a new tab or the Amazon mobile app.
2. Select a pickup time slot. Amazon opens pickup slots 24 hours in advance. Your order will be shopped no later than the pickup slot you selected. Your order will be delivered the day after your selected pickup time slot. Your order will be delivered to the dock of the island of your choice on the ferry. Please check arrival time tables to meet your order at the ferry dock. Your name and phone number will be provided to the ferry to assist in delivery of your order.
3. Complete your order. Once your order is complete, you will receive an email confirmation from Amazon with your order details.
4. Email order details to the store. Email NAPTLProvisions@wholefoods.com with the following details. If your email is missing any of the information below, your order may be delayed or unable to be delivered.
Name on the Amazon order.
Island that order should be delivered to.
Date and time of pickup slot.
Amazon order number (this will be included in the confirmation email from Amazon).
Phone number (this will allow the store or ferry service to contact you with any questions).
You may receive alerts from Amazon indicating that your pickup order is ready. You can disregard these alerts since a Whole Foods Market team member will be delivering your order to the ferry on your behalf.
