DELICIOUS: Our Wild Atlantic Mackerel is a small fish with the rich flavor and meaty texture of a larger fish. Our Smoked Mackerel is lightly smoked over fragrant Mediterranean bay wood for a subtle, smoky, savory flavor, and packed in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
NUTRITIOUS: Our mackerel is an excellent source of Protein (22g per tin), contain 230mg of Omega-3s, are an excellent source of Vitamin E, Vitamin B-12, and Vitamin K, and a good source of Vitamin D. Our mackerel is a safer and lower impact alternative to Tuna, with lower levels of mercury and heavy metals.
RESPONSIBILITY HARVESTED: Our mackerel is hook-and-line caught in the Bay of Biscay, Spain, from well-managed populations. This prevents bycatch and over-harvest, and ensures the texture and quality of the fish is preserved. Hand-packed in 100% recyclable BPA-NI cans by an artisanal family-owned B-corp cannery in Galicia, Spain.
