Disguised as little presents, these do-it-yourself popcorn gifts are flavored with smoked paprika. At home, all the recipients will need is a little oil for popping.
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds
- 1 1/2 teaspoon teaspoons smoked paprika
- Canola oil for popping (not included)
To prepare packets: Put popcorn kernels and salt in a small, resealable plastic bag. Put almonds and paprika in a second small, resealable plastic bag. Wrap both up in parchment or waxed paper like a present. Print out instructions (see below) and attach with twine, tying each package closed.
