Casco Bay Island Delivery

WE DELIVER TO THE FERRY 7 DAYS A WEEK
Whole Foods Market Portland, Maine, provides delivery via the Casco Bay Lines Ferry, year round, seven days a week (on the early afternoon boat per CBL). When in season, delivery is also available to the Cushing’s Island boat (5:30pm weekdays/4:30pm weekends). Delivery and freight fee are paid for by Whole Foods Market. All you have to do is meet your order at the ferry terminal on the island. You can shop your order or we’ll do the shopping for you.
 
Everything in our store is available for purchase, except we cannot ship beer, wine, or spirits without them being purchased beforehand in store with a valid ID. Perishable items will be protected by returnable cold packs and/or cold bags to ensure their safe arrival. We pack your groceries in boxes (usually banana) and label them with your name, phone number, island, and a box count.
 
WHEN COMPOSING YOUR LIST
BE SPECIFIC 
Be sure to specify quantity or weight, brand, type and whether you prefer organic or conventional. Our 365 Everyday Value private label line and conventional brands are our defaults. 
 
Example: Granny Smith Apples 3 lbs. Organic
 
SHOPPING YOUR OWN ORDER
If you shop for your groceries in our store, we ask that you complete your checkout by 12pm noon so our team can pack your groceries for on-time delivery that afternoon.

Minimum Order total: $50.00
Personal Shopping Fee: 10% of order total, minimum $10
 
REFUNDABLE PACKAGING CHARGE 
Insulated Bag: $1 
Ice Sheet: $4 (used where needed)
 
LET US DO THE SHOPPING!
Orders e-mailed in, need to be received by 12 pm noon the day prior to delivery to Casco Bay Lines. We cannot ship beer, wine, or spirits without them being purchased beforehand in store with a valid ID. Add on order will only be accepted through 9am, the day your order is going out.

BEFORE YOU ORDER 
Please stop in the store for a quick profile set up. All you need is a photo ID and the card we will be charging. It only takes a minute, but must be done in person. We are unable to ship orders where payment has not processed.
 
RETURNING PACKAGING
To return packing items without leaving the island place cold bags, ice sheets and a sheet of paper with your name and phone number in a banana box labeled To Whole Foods Market and bring to the ferry. Once received we will credit your account.
