Some flavors are so traditionally “holiday” to me that it doesn’t seem right to indulge any other time of the year. But once December rolls around, I’m all about candy-cane-coated everything, rum-soaked raisins and oh, the eggnog.Nog finds its way into lots of my drinks and recipes this time of year. I add the almondmilk version to my coffee, I soak panettone or brioche in traditional eggnog for Baked Eggnog French Toast opens in a new tab and I sip nog with a bit of rum, a dash of Angostura bitters and a generous grating of fresh nutmeg.
