Cheese is for Lovers

January 20 is National Cheese Lover's Day. Celebrate with delightful cheesy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even dessert.

Some crave Thanksgiving dinner all year long. Others lust after Valentine’s Day chocolates and wine. Many eagerly anticipate a festive Independence Day barbecue. However, the holiday I hold most dear is today — National Cheese Lover’s Day!

My love affair with cheese had humble beginnings with lunch box string cheese (bit right off instead of shredded, of course) and my mom’s simple grilled cheese. It blossomed as I discovered the delights of goat cheese in salads and on pizzas and relished a pungent blue on a cheese plate without even a cracker in sight. And late night homemade, gourmet mac and cheese is my ultimate indulgence.

Let’s take a moment (or hopefully several) to acknowledge this most delicious of days by enjoying cheese all day long. This list of recipes is a great place to start
