Lentils are a staple of vegetarian cooking and extremely versatile. Add them to pastas, soups, salads and more.
Make mushrooms the main event. With their hearty texture and savory flavor, they are another go-to ingredient for satisfying meatless dishes.
Made from fermented soybeans, tempeh offers a substantial chew and robust flavor. Look for it in the refrigerated foods section.
Burgers — Bean Based!
Going meatless doesn’t mean cutting out burgers. There are many styles of veggie burgers. You can make your own opens in a new tab, or easiest of all: Pick up some frozen veggie burgers from the store. We have many delicious varieties to try. Add toppings and condiments, plus a salad, and you have an easy go-to weeknight dinner.
