Great Skin at Every Age

Pro-Aging Tips by Decade

Teens and Twenties

Sunscreen should be the foundation of any skin care regimen, because sun damage today contributes to wrinkles and discoloration later. Choose a full-spectrum formula and apply under makeup.

Try: MyChelle Sun Shield SPF 28

Thirties

Antioxidants help the skin recover from the effects of sun and environmental damage. Look for a serum or moisturizer with antioxidant-packed ingredients — such as pomegranate, rosehip or acai — near the top of the ingredient list.

Try: Evan Healy Pomegranate Repair Serum with Sea Buckthorn Oil

Forties

Hydrating face cream locks in moisture and diminishes the appearance of fine lines. Select a cream with effective humectants, such as hyaluronic acid or honey.

Try: Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Face Cream

Fifties and Beyond

Eye cream helps quench the thin and delicate skin around your eyes. Look for a rich formula with nourishing oils, such as avocado oil, jojoba oil or sweet almond oil.

Try: Dr. Hauschka Daily Hydrating Eye Cream
