Mango season in Hawaii would always inspire me and my friends to throw a tropical mango party. Have you ever been to a party like that? It’s quite a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate delicious, decadent mangoes. We would put on our swimsuits and sit in a hot tub eating sliced mangoes, drinking sparkling wine and listening to our favorite island music. New to mangoes? Once you’ve tasted a sweet, succulent mango, there’s no going back. If you’re not sure how to cut it, here’s one easy method:
Slice off the two cheeks on either side of the flat, oblong mango pit.
