From tracking down the perfect kitchen to making sure there are enough lemons to dress the set, Marie Guggedahl deems no detail too small when it comes to Whole Foods Market’s cooking series, Freshly Made. As the associate producer, it’s her job to make sure the shoots run smoothly, which sometimes means being head taste tester on set. We asked her to share one of her favorite new recipe videos coming out of the studio.
Quinoa Egg Bake: I am here to tell you that buttery, flaky crusts are so last year and have been replaced with crunchy and nutritious quinoa! I know that sounds insane, but just give this Quinoa Egg Bake a try and you’ll understand. Oh, and raise your hand if you like garlic. If you do, this is the egg casserole for you. While shooting this recipe, we were all half drunk off the garlic smell wafting from the oven while the dish baked.
