Get Cooking!
It sounds easy enough to cook a sausage but anyone who has been served a sausage that is overcooked, burnt on the outside while raw in the middle or one that split while cooking might disagree.
The key to great-tasting sausages is this: simmer them in beer or water until partially cooked and then finish in the oven or on the grill or stovetop.
After simmering, choose on of these cooking methods:
Grill. 6-8 minutes is all they need!
Stovetop. Split sausages lengthwise down the middle to crisp up both sides.
Oven. Split and arrange on a baking sheet alongside your favorite seasonal veggies.
