Our team of wine experts knows summer is the season of simple pleasures and new adventures — and that a great glass caps it all off. They whittled down the list of their favorites to 13 globe-spanning wines with pairings — both food and vibe — to set you on your way. Ready, set, relax.

Bon Ami French Sparkling Brut
Pair with brunch mimosas and “I woke up like this.”
Grown from clay-limestone soil at high altitude, this effervescent bubbly with crisp notes of exotic fruits, lemon zest and pineapple brings effortless enjoyment. Naturally fabulous.

Criterion New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
Pair with barbecued shrimp and one happy glamper.
Criterion’s vineyards sit beside the Wairau River, where the right balance of long hot days and cool nights makes for perfect conditions. Tropical fruits, crisp minerality and a refreshing finish — that’s anything but roughing it.

Valravn Pinot Noir
Pair with grilled salmon and dressy flip-flops.
Valravn did the hard work so you can kick back. Low yields, hand harvesting and dry farming culminate in notes of lush cherry, rose petals and cedar spice. Casual but classy.

Pool Boy Blanc
Pair with ceviche and “hat hair, don’t care.”
Anything goes with this bottle of blanc featuring a crisp edge, exotic flower aromas, yellow pear and lemon citrus. It also comes in a pool-friendly, unbreakable one-liter bottle.

Day Drinking by Little Big Town Watermelon Rosé Wine Spritzer
Pair with spicy chicken wings and a backup pair of sunglasses.
Crafted by the Grammy-winning country music band Little Big Town, this rosé spritzer (in a can!) is the backstage pass to bubbly, juicy sun-kissed watermelon and ripe red raspberries. Remember to remove your shades at night.

El Terrano Rosado
Pair with tapas, grilled veggies and sprawled out lawn chair lounging with the neighbors.
Air clink your glasses! This rosé from one of the oldest wine-growing regions in Spain will have all cheering “¡Vamos!” Ripe raspberries, bright acidity and a refreshing finish deliver.

Globerati Pinot Grigio
Pair with caprese salad and no shirt, no shoes, no problems.
This pinot grigio from the heel of Italy is a refreshing breeze of sappy peach, tart lemon and juicy pear. Tan lines are a sign of summer well-lived.

La Crema Monterey Chardonnay
Pair with cheese and crackers, and your feet up on the couch.
If reclining were a yoga pose, we’d be masters. The maritime influence of the Monterey AVA imparts hints of Meyer lemon, grilled pineapple, guava and nectarine that are so delicious they officially excuse all crumbs under the cushions.

Los Conejos Malditos Tempranillo Carbónico
Pair with steak frites and dressed-down date night.
Who said red wines can’t have spritz? This rule bending tempranillo speaks our love language with velvety raspberry, cassis, cherry and mulberry. Dinner and a bottle for two. Serve chilled.

Murphy Goode Rosé
Pair with fried chicken and “a best friend is the one with a boat.”
Available for the first time in our stores, this blend of 80% pinot noir, 17% syrah and 3% grenache balances brightness and acidity with vibrant strawberry, floral and citrus. We couldn’t be more excited to take the maiden voyage.

Blanc Space Sauvignon Blanc
Pair with char-grilled shrimp and a spontaneous sprint through the sprinklers.
Slip and slide into natural orange wine that takes its color by fermenting alongside the grape skins. Lily and lemon meringue, chalky mineral and laser-focused citrus promise to elevate seafood off the grill. See, adulting doesn’t have to be so serious.

Upper Left Cabernet Sauvignon
Pair with grilled burgers and the-boss-is-out Fridays.
There’s nothing better than cutting out just a little early and beelining to the backyard with juicy patties in hand. With a profile of black cherry, rhubarb pie, vanilla, cinnamon and clove, meat eaters rejoice — we have your recipe for the start of a special summer weekend.

Volpaia Chianti Classico
Pair with all dishes Italian and mastering the art of doing nothing.
Produced within an 11th century historic walled village that looks like a postcard, ripe cranberry, tart cherry and exotic leather and spice stamp the palate passport. This wine understands that relaxation deserves its own spot on the calendar.
Must be 21+. Please drink responsibly.
