WF makes my day & a whole lot of others Ü I make a list check it twice, head in the entrance of WF in Boca Ratn, FL and well, there goes my list... The flowers, the veggies, the soups, the aisles, the wines, cheese, deli, the yumo coffee/tea and the customer service is waaaayy outstanding! There so much you can buy within your list and above and beyond~ And you know about the prices even the WF 365 Brand products, I am all over it. Almost my entire kitchen shelfs and pantry have almost been a WF 365 makeover ☺ I should work here - it makes me happy to shop, fair pricing, great quality, super classes & neato energy! Love the bag refund

After reading the grumps who have to drive 20-45 mins to reach a WF I can't help but commenting...it is a 156 mi round trip so the gal who goes 318 each way has me beat! but Stillwater OK could sure use a WF as could every town over 35,000! Think about it...we could make Real Whole Food the new in thing. We are no longer consuming "factory farm" dairy and eggs, meat we can't do yet...financial reality...but the dr told my daughter that the antibiotics might not work as there are so many resistant bugs out there. He was amazed they worked in 1/2 the time he expected--our bodies aren't overloaded with antibiotic residue so she needed fewer, less toxic (to people anyway), less expensive antibiotics to help her body heal itself. My favorite part of the WF store..from just inside the front door to just inside the back door and from wall to wall. Sorry I can't make it more specific! We need more WF stores in all the states...expand as you can...I'm a realist. Peace, Cynthia

I love Whole Foods and shop there every time I pass by in Tempe or Chandler. I would do ALL my shopping there if you would PLLLEEEEAAASE open one in Gilbert!!!! Then I could always have the fresh produce, gluten-free breads, olives and chocolate on hand =) Thanks for maintaining such quality products in your stores!

Love the cinnamon rolls in the WF bakery -- delicious for breakfast in bed, with a delicious cup of Allegro coffee, and some berries from the produce department!

i would be happy if my little guys brought me home some whole foods herb roasted chicken, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and tiramisu. that would be a simple and easy, perfect mothers day dinner. but i wouldn't share that tiramisu.

Basically, I love everything about Whole Foods but wish I had the money to buy all of my food from you. The meats are far better than anywhere else we purchase from. It's the only place I can get bison in every cut! thanks for that.

What can I say, there is no other way to live than with Whole Foods! I am a Whole Foods regular - My birthday is 5/5 and my son's birthday and Mother's Day fall on the same day this year. I will take him to lunch at...you guessed it, Whole Foods! What a sly way to celebrate his birthday and my special day! I'll buy him lunch and he'll buy me carrots for juicing! Life is Good!!

I love shopping when the store has samples, always get good ideas for new ways to use regularly purchased products.

I recommend getting a live plant for Mother's Day - I'm thinking about getting my mom an orchid plant. My local store has a huge variety from a local grower. They are beautiful and last for almost a month. And it's super earth friendly - they are local and instead of getting cut flowers she gets a plant she can enjoy for years!

As a mother of 2 young children, I take great joy in sharing my love and appreciation of whole foods with my kids. One of our favorite activities involving food is to have spontaneous picnics all year round. It's easy to put together a fast great meal that's kid friendly, nutritious and fun. In the summertime I grab a small cutting board, paring knife and a blanket and we head to While Foods. We love to start in the produce section and pick fresh fruits and crunchy vegetables. We also grab one or two lovely French baguettes from the bakery. Then we head down to the deli section and pick up some of our favorite spreads--roasted red pepper hummus and the spinach dip are great with both bread and vegetables. The last stop is the cheese aisle and there we pick up 2 or 3 wonderful local cheeses. We also put together a selection of different olives from the olive bar. Then we head out to a local lake or park, spread our feast on the blanket, and sit down to an easy meal of wholesome foods that we eat with our hands. No dishes or floors to sweep, and just nature as a beautiful backdrop. In the wintertime we do the same thing, but spread the blanket on our living room floor for a change in scenery!

Give me a dinner on Mother's Day that includes outrageously large and delicous vegetable samosa's from the fresh food market, naan bread from the bakery, Lemongrass Seafood Curry (found in the recipe section on the Whole Foods Website) made with the outstanding scallps and shrimp found in the Whole Foods Fish Market and jasmine rice purchased in the bulk foods aisle. Follow this up with one of the gourmet cupcakes from the bakery and my day would be perfect!

I absolutely love the choice of fruits and vegetables at Whole Foods. They taste better, look better, and are better for me and my family! I love not having to worry about what's in the packaged foods as well. Thank you!

Celebrating Mother's Day specifically is going to the hot & cold food bars for a fabulously tasty and vast selection (pleasing everyone's tastes) of food to choose from, and weather permitting, have a picnic outside - otherwise, improvise to have an indoor picnic. One of my favorites for anytime snacks is the organic dried figs (in the bins). They taste just like "Fig Newtons" without the not so healthy cookie - or as I like to say..."Newton" - part.

Carlson Natural Vitamin E Suppositories were recommended to me by my gynecologist for vaginal dryness caused by an early hysterectomy. These suppositories are amazing.

i would say a nice trip to whole foods. WF gift cards are great for any gifts!

I love shopping Whole Foods - everything is fantastic! My husband works right next to a WF store, so I know that when he goes out for lunch, he is getting a great vegetarian lunch that is healthy for him. My kids want snacks for school, and I know that the 365 Fruit Bars are an alternative to fresh fruit that I can feel good about packing. For Mom - anything from the seafood department - it's all good. Thanks Whole Foods!

I love Whole Foods because they have good quality foods. This store have many things which would be good to buy for Moms as gifts, such as flowers, bath and soap products, snacks in a baskets, etc. To win $100 will help me because I lost my job last January and I am still looking for a job which is not easy to find.

WF is my favorite place to grocery shop. I especially love fresh produce aisle. it is full of fresh vegetables and fruits. I'll definitely get WF gift cards for myself and my mother.

Cythia Martin says …

What I enjoy is the Whole Foods tea section- all the exotic teas by the pound. I shop maybe twice a month and it would take years to try them all. The Fair Trade Choice organic teas are a great value- I like the Irish Breakfast tea.

So many things to love at Whole Foods..my favorite cheese is Fromager d'Affinois tasted a sample, been addicted every since. Love 365 Lavender hand sanitizer and wipes, a must have. Ezekiel cereal with flax...every morning..Love all the herbal oils and vitamins, the best all around, love the blue berry, raspberry and strawberry combo in the cold section..those go in my greek yogurt. 365 organic turkey jerky and beef jerky...man...no comparing the taste. I love the fact that I can always find monk fish where no one else has it. There is an organic instant coffe substitute I turned my mom on and she loves. All the veggies...so fresh...love the cooked food section...must I go there...I cannot go to Whole Foods hungry..lol. I want to work there when I retire in a couple of years. No fooling..it's my after retirement plan.

Going to whole foods for me is like a night out away from the kids. i usually try to make sure my husband can watch my 2 young boys ages 4 and 6 and just "get away" to the local whole foods in portland, maine. I feel healthy just walking in and everything is fresh and healthy. It's fun to browse the aisles and take the time to read nutritional information of products. I love the flowers and my favorite dessert is a strawberry shortcake cake. It is luscious with fresh strawberries and cream!

I think Mothers day is all about indulging the hard working Mother. I wouldn't want to buy products that will add to my Mother's workload (ie food that would require her to cook, or products that would benefit the whole family, when really the day is all about her, and our opportunity to say "Thankyou" for everything she does for us. I would buy her a basket full of 'self indulgence' I would start with some of the wonderful HUGO bath and moisturising products, accompanied by one or two items from the Dr Hauschka range. A Mothers day gift would not be the same without some fresh fruit and chocolate, knowing what a chocoholic my Mum is. I would buy some premium chocolate and strawberries, melt the chocolate and dip the strawberries -YUM. Then spend the rest of the day protecting my Mothers gift from the rest of the family...lol. The 'piece de resistance' would be a beautiful floral arrangement prepared by the Wholefoods florist. I don't think we can adequately ever say "thankyou" for all the things our Moms do for us, but with Wholefoods help, we can go most of the way.

Mom lives in assisted care and while the meals are healthy, they are not very tasty. So, we'll start the day at the Whole Foods breakfast bar for an awesome selection of well-priced goodies. We'll eat in the store, in the sunny front section. Then on to produce to stock up on some fresh fruit for her apartment, something lacking in the regular diet of the assisted care facility. Finally, some pampering and soothing bath products and maybe a scented candle. Never too old to smell good.

Where to begin? There are things we love on every aisle of the store. Right now one of my favorites is the SANCTUARY brand shade grown coffee. It's organic, fair-trade, and it protects migratory song-bird habitat. The coffee is grown in the shade the way it should be, so that farmers aren't encouraged to clear-cut their land, and thereby destroy the song-bird habitat. Thank you, WF, for carrying this.

I too love the Sparkling Mineral waters, esp the mint. Such a great value. The 365 lavendar body wash is fabulous as well. Always a special treat when we enjoy the salad bar for lunch.

fresh produce ... and apples!

I think a nice vegetarian meal, maybe a Quorn roast and some vegan sonoma salad, would be a perfect way to celebrate.

Marilyn Stephen says …

Let me begin by saying that the seafood department ROCKS!!!!! I also love the great selection of cheese, tea, rice, etc. The fabulous selection of already prepared food can be a God send to us busy moms. I wish you would open another store out east of Cols. so I could come more often.

I love WF!!!The family meals to go are wonderful!!!

Michele says …

Whole foods has the best pizza not from a pizza place. It's great because you can have it cooked for you or take it home and cook it yourself. Then for dessert they have the best chocolates.

Mary Ann says …

I love WH vitamins. I am vegetaian and have a hard time finding them without gelatin, but I always know that I can find just what I am looking for there. Their vitamin club, where you make a vitamin purchase and get your card stamped, when full it's the same as a $10 bill toward your next vitamin purchase. The closest WF to me is a 4 hour drive so I make it a point (and sometimes the highlight of my trip!) to go when ever one is near by. Whole Foods is my favorite store!

bsg says …

I absolutely adore the sea scallops--cook with a little wine and tarragon--and you get a quick wonderful meal. I also enjoy the pre-made salads, the breads, and, in fact, everything else. The 365 brands are also great and a good way to save some money.

Anna Keyte says …

A baguette, bottle of red wine, and some cheeses would be a fantastic way to celebrate. I love WF's cheese section!

Beckie V says …

One of the best products that Whole Foods sells is their homemade tiramisu. It's the perfect dessert for a mom on mother's day.

Kristy Morrill says …

Please never get rid of these, some of my fave things: -fried tofu with scallions -edible flowers -the tuna salad rocks -good bee pollen -all the body care products, supplements etc -local produce -hormone free meat, fowl, seafood

For Mother's Day, definitely fill a Feed 100 bag with all sorts of goodies: fresh organic fruit, 365 granola, Valhrona chocolate, Cowgirl Creamery Mt Tam cheese and a baguette, quince paste and dried fruit, a bunch of great wine, and dark chocolate covered graham crackers. Top it off with free trade flowers - better yet, a plant that can live and grow - and the tea or coffee of your choice.

Jeanne says …

I think a nice Mother's Day treat would be to pick up some of the wonderful prepared foods (don't forget the special desserts from the pastry counter) and head for the beach or a nice park for a picnic!

MaryH says …

Mother's Day at Whole Foods is easy. I would start with whole trade roses. Then grab some organic fruit, chocolate and 365 white wine (it's like $5 and good) and hit the park for a picnic to celebrate Mom without spending a lot of money!

Laura Anderson says …

Make Mother's Day easy, buy all prepared food from whole foods. Be sure to get cheese and anitpasto along with organic chocolates. That way you can spend more time with mom and less time in the kitchen!

Crystal says …

A great Mother's Day would not be complete without exotic cheeses, fresh bread, and delicious olives. Whole Foods has a great assortment of specialty cheeses and the staff is very knowledgeable regarding the cheeses that would be best for any mom. Pair the cheese with 365 wheat crackers and fresh bread from the Whole Foods bakery. Some olives from the olive bar will complement the easy and delicious afternoon treat for mom. For dessert, pick up a sweet treat from the bakery or some 365 dark chocolate. I am looking forward to a relaxing and delightful day with my mom thanks to Whole Foods.

Giselle says …

As a mother of a highly allergic child Whole Foods 365 Gluten Free products are the best - I used to have to make everything from scratch but these are not only easier but better! Thanks so much Whole Foods!

marina says …

one of my favorite products is the 365 organic unsweetened soymilk - not only is it cheap, organic, and not full of sugar like a lot of other soymilks - but it has lots of calcium which is so important for kids and moms.

Skylar says …

I plan to celebrate my wonderful mother with my brother. We loved her and loved celebrating Mother's Day when she was with us. We'll enjoy some of her favorite foods; artichokes, delicious bread and butter, chopped salad and we'll finish with coffee and chocolate. If everyone had a mother like ours the world would be an infinitely more beautiful place. Love to all the wonderful mothers!
