I know that the food chain has lost nutritional value through out history but I still believe natural sourcing is the best bet for vitamins. In a high tech age I know we have the ability to engineer anything, but I don’t believe anything not found in nature is essential for is to live.

We started prenatal with fish oils. Now our kids love the DHA gels, and actually ask us for them every morning. I feel good about the system support this offers.

Breakfast makes all the difference in the world in our house! I notice it with the kids of course, but even with myself. Coffee and air just don't make for a lasting morning.

Great coverage! We started with liquid vitamins in milk and juice at a very young age. It is a good feeling to know they are having supplements as they go through the greatest grow stages of their life!

I've heard that over taking multi vitamins can actually tax the kidneys. Natural sources are easier on the body and more beneficial.

My thoughts are "hey if they take vitamins it can only help" Any support we can give those little bodies is a grand idea.

A good liquid multi is very important for development for young ones, and of course important to everyone particularly as we age, or face a stressful pace of life.

We used a great liquid vitamin in goats milk as a supplement when I breast fed our boys. It felt good even early on to know they were getting good supplements.

Vitamins might be more important for older people then for young kids. Kids systems can integrate everything they digest, where as when we age this process becomes more difficult.

Children don't really need additional supplementation + many of their foods are fortified with vitamins and minerals. Here is a good article from the Mayo clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/multivitamins/AN01406

Whole foods, juices are great for a natural source of vitamins and minerals. I don't think a supplement can hurt but only help.
