Greening my home's cleaning products is very important to me. I feel that using harsh chemicals is bad for us in so many different ways. Not only are you breathing them in as you clean with them, but you also are touching them when you come back to use that room (i.e. the bathroom or kitchen), and then possible touching your skin or hands. I do not have any children yet, but one day, when I do, I will want to know all the tricks of cleaning green to protect them from harsh chemicals. I do have a dog right now, and I feel she even benefits. I don't have to worry about her when she sneaks a drink from the toilet, I only use green products!!!! :)

I had made the switch to a healthier alternative to cleaning products when I found out I was pregnant 4 years ago. I discovered the brand, Method, at Target and fell in love with their products. I decided to stick with it because I wanted to make sure everything I had around the house was 100% safe for me while I was pregnt and for later for that curious baby/toddler I was going to have exploring around the house. After reading a book about how to go "Green" I began exploring other alternatives, such as using old baby cloths and tshirts for cleaning cloths, all natural laundrt detergents, etc. I would love to try out the products above, especially the cleaning wipes. That was one product of Method's that I actually did not care for.

I was the typical non green user until my regular laundry detergent started to ruin my clothes. Then my regular spot treatment literally ate my clothes. So I switched to a green detergent and spot treatment. My detergent lasts longer. The spot remover works better. I'm now a believer in green cleaning agents. They are safer for the environment which is all around better for my family's future.

I think it would ROCK to win a green cleaning gift basket! I am always trying to find new products to use to help keep mother earth and our home safe of unneccessary chemicals. We are a young family on an extremely tight budget and experimenting with products is not really an option at this time. Thanks for this possible opportunity!

I'm inspired to give my home a greener clean because I do not want to expose my family to toxins. I am also inspired by my beliefs that I should reduce my carbon footprint on the Earth and protect the environment for future generations.

I would love to use green cleaners because I have to make a difference it is my job. With only 1% of Earths water drinkable I think everyone should take action. Our population is far too great and factories pollute our water ways with bad practices.

Looking for a good supplier of green products is usually what keeps me from going completely green. This would help me start out and make the switch.

I am inspired to clean my house with green products because chemicals harm the environment and my health. As a cancer survivor I am driven to improve on those products I come in contact with.

Our Family is starting a Maine-only diet today for one whole year! Only Maine food, sources and products! We know that's nearly impossible for our cleaning supplies, so we'd LOVE to "green" our house (even more) with some earth friendly clearning products! Follow us at www.byebyebananas.wordpress.org

I have been switching over successfully and unsuccessfully to green cleaning products (body and home) since the new year. The failures really hurt the pocketbook. What a great, risk-free way to keep the changes coming. BTW, ecover tabs = success; 7th generation automatic dishwasher gel = unsuccessful and biokleen automatic dish powder = unsuccessful (powder residue on glasses).

Am always looking to further "green" my household products. Been working at it for a couple of years now, successfully doing so with cleaners, laundry products, etc. Still have a way to go with paper products. Have gotten rid of dish sponges and using reusable, washable cloths now. Would appreciate the opportunity to win a gift backet of new products in my constant effort to go greener.
