Nothing like homemade lemonade in the summer. We had a lemonade stand at our school to raise money for a memorial bench for a student who had passed away from brain cancer. Do good with lemons!!!

I love strawberry lemonade!

We use lemons all year round and not just for drinks; there is nothing like a fresh lemon juice in a marinade - but in summer we use it a lot - we toss fresh lemon juice with EVOO and S/P in a batch of scrimp and grill. Also lemons are very healthy and have some very beneficial elements. And lemons make great decorations - I fill glass vase with lemons and sometimes limes for an attrractive and eventually functionaly decoration on the table/bar.

Meyer Lemonade. Nothing beats a tall cold glass on a hot day. Though even in mid winter when its cold its fantastic. Since the Meyer lemons on my tree are ready tp harvest in early winter and spring and I can freeze the juice, I can make this yummy treat for my family all year long. I use: 24 ounces of Fresh squeezed Meyer lemon juice 2/3 c agave nectar 32 oz water mix and serve over ice. YUM!

Simple, fresh lemonade is the best! Squeeze the juice from two large lemons into a half-full glass of ice water, add one or two generous tablespoons of sugar, cover with another glass and shake! Stir with a skewer of raspberries if you want to be extra-classy. It's the perfect summer drink.

I love seeing kids trying out their first entrepenuershipness. I try to stop and give praise and encourage them and their skills by buying a cup or two of their lemonaide and talking to them whenever I can. This summer my grandbaby will be turning 5 years old, and if I should be the winner of this prize I will donate it to her, and help her to create her own style of lemonaide to sell. I don't know as yet what will be created, but with your lemonaide as its base ingredient it should be delicious! I want to thank you for the chance at helping a little girl to start learning a little about business, and how much fun it can truely be.

DJ says …

Lemonade any which way in the summer is the best

Carol Porch says …

Organic sweet green tea over ice. Boy is that good on a hot summer day. :)

Cindy Primo says …

I love water with lots of fruit slices. So good and beautiful. Just looking at it reminds me of summer. :0) 1 glass pitcher - the simpler the better. Any number of fresh, organic fruits, berries or citrus: 1 apple 1 lemon 1 orange 1 pear 4 large strawberries Handful of raspberries Handful of mint leaves Fresh cold water Make sure your fruit is well-rinsed; if you're using mint leaves, rinse those, too. Then you just cut large slices or thin wedges of each fruit- depending on your preference and place them in the pitcher of cold water. Leave the mint leaves whole. You could even freeze other herbs or little flowers like violets in ice cubes and float those in there.

Cathy B says …

my fave summer beverage is actually lemonade sweetened with agave and a few dashes of chopped fresh mint and ginger crystals or shavings, with several fresh mint leaves thrown in!.. what makes it even more elegant is to serve with ice cubes made from organic lemon juice and mint leaves! For an extra kick you might want to leave a bit of room in glass and add some chardonnay...

Angie says …

My favorite summer time beverage is a tall glass of "un-sweetened" ice tea!

Tina says …

I love just plain old lemonade!!! Some fresh squeezed lemons with a little bit of sugar. :)

Karen says …

We love limeade! Make a simple syrup with turbinado sugar, ground cardamom and a dash of rosewater. Grate some lime zest into the syrup for extra lime flavor. Fresh squeezed lime juice, sparkling water, the simple syrup and a sprig of fresh mint. Ahhh!

Megan M says …

We love making fresh brewed tea or even simple water with cucumber slices in it is thirst quenching when it gets hot here in Florida!!

Lindy says …

I made a cocktail a few weeks ago which would be a perfect summer drink: sweet tea vodka, mango lemonade, lemon juice, and maple syrup. Tart and sweet, you can adjust to your liking. I'm also a huge fan of fruity iced tea with different simple syrups.

Shelly W. Hansen says …

this sounds like a wonderful package! I don'y buy lemon-aid I think most of it isn't very good but this sound like it could be great! I drink water all day long
