My Valentine/s are my precious grandsons. They are 7 & 8 years old. They bring so much joy to my life and the lives of all our family. I bring them w/ me 2 "WHOLE FOODS" and help them understand about our food sources, they help teach me about recycling and conserving water. I think we make a great team. Thank you for the opportunity . Mimi to Blake and gage

My valentine is my family. I am truly grateful for my husband, 4 year old and 22 month old. It is the little things that mean the most. When I asked my 4 year old who was his valentine, he said "you, mom". I just wanted to stop time right there! When I go down to do one more load of laundry and see that it is already done, my husband pitched in and helped, that puts a surprise smile on my face! Lastly, when the 22 month old wakes up in the morning, sees you first and gives you the biggest smile and says "HHHIIIIIIII", it does not get much better than that.

My husband is my valentine. He chops wood for our woodstove all year round to make sure our house is warm. He does the laundry, washes the dishes, vacuums the house, makes the bed, and takes care of our pets so I don't have to after a long day at work (and all this after he gets home from work). He starts a warm bath for me on occasion and loves to snuggle on the couch with me. He makes my life eaiser and for that he's my valentine all year round!

My husband of 15 years is my best friend and a wonderful father to our three little children. Last February right before Valentines Day he was deployed to Iraq. This was our first deployment, thank goodness for Skype. The first time I was able to see and talk to him on the computer took my breath away. We would mail care packages back and forth so he never seemed to far away. After many days and nights of worrying, he is finally home. We are looking forward to spending this Valentines Day together as a family. We are so very proud of our Airman.

My six-year old valentine is special because she has picked up on our quest for healthy eating. When we are out and about, she frequently asks, "Is everything I'm eating and drinking natural or organic?" And, she tells me "You're the best mama ever!"

My Valentine this year is super special. He is only 19 months old, but he is full of love. Monster sized hugs. Big sloppy kisses. Morning cuddles. Dancing together. Singing songs together at night. So many reasons why my valentine is special. But most of all because he's my boy, and I love him.

My valentines are my 2 grandchildren ages 2 & 1 whom I am blessed to see almost everyday. When I see them and they smile at me they make me forget any problems I might have. While I play and take care of them it reminds me that doing the simple things in life and taking care of these 2 little ones are all that matters in life!

My sweetie is my husband.... We will be married one year in April 2011... And we are in our 40's... I said I would never get married again as my last and only marriage was really bad and I wasn't very trusting of men... But Randy really, really worked hard to gain my trust and prove to me that true love really could happen. We were neighbors in elementary school... I moved away in the 3rd grade (1972) and never saw him again. In 2009, we met back up on Facebook and were inseparable. Like I said, he worked soooo hard to keep us together even though I tried to break up a few times as I just couldn't do it again... On April 3rd, 2010, I married the man I always wanted. I love him very, very much and look forward to being with him until we die. Thanks!

Allyson says …

My beloved husband is deployed this Valentines Day. Although I miss getting to spend special holidays like this one with him, it makes the time he is here even more priceless. Last year, he wanted me to 'enjoy myself' by ordering me a wine and hors d'oevre kit online--however he got to the confirmation page and realized that he couldn't ship wine to GA. Needless to say, for V-day last year, a strange box of cheese and crackers showed up on my doorstep. Gotta appreciate the thought! Love that man.

My valentine is always loving and thoughtful and is always thinking of me. During our recent ice storm I still had to go to work at the hospital. He had already cleared and salted the path to the car. He also prestarted and heated the car, and even drove me to work and picked me up! As a nurse and knowing I had to be at work it was nice knowing he cared and was so supportive. He is definitely my wonderful valentine.

Amy Carey says …

My husband is my special valentine because he has supported me this past year through some very difficult medical issues. Without his constant help and devotion, I would not be as healthy as I am today!

Shelly Bigda says …

Valentine's Day is special to me because it is not just a day for love but a day to show our love to one another. Thru loving kindness, generosity, and gratitude we can make each day better for all people who suffer. Its the opposite of violence and there is way too much violence.

My hubbie mopped the floors, emptied the dishwasher, folded the laundry, and vacuumed all in one day. Without me asking! What a sweetie.

Today, my partner went to Whole Foods Market to buy and make for dinner my favorite meal, steak and broccoli. I know he will also surprise me with a purchase of a delicious dessert to share this Saturday night. This is after he spent the day shoveling out, almost waist high in snow downspouts, carrying 40lb. bags of speedy dry, feeding the birds that come to visit us and calling his Mom to check on her. He's a special Valentine!

Paula Aiello says …

My valentine will be 10 months old on the day before Valentine's Day. She is my first grandchild. She teaches me something every time I am with her ... Like how to sing even if you don't know words yet! Like how to look at a mirror and smile at the person in it! Like how to REALLY enjoy healthy foods ... even if they look awful! Like how to make someone's day just by giving out free smiles and giggles! I love being with her, even when she's cranky - which isn't very often. She gives back to me more than I could ever give her :-)

Marta Derepentigny says …

My Valentine is my big redneck boyfriend who is very special to me because he is willing to try new things with me that are out of his comfort zone. He loves me unconditionally and not only tells me, but shows me every day how beautiful I am and how much he appreciates me in his life. He is a hard worker, full of energy and a devoted father who loves his children wholeheartedly. I want him in my life as long as possible so we have both started our journey to a healthier lifestyle thanks to all the variety in your store!

My valentine bought me a new dress. Then, he made me dinner and we ate in all dressed up.

Sonya says …

My boyfriend gets outside and "lets" winter kick his butt so mine doesn't and cooks with abandon as long as a recipe is left out. I'm going to marry him someday... :)

Sherri says …

To this day, my favorite Valentine's Day was 21 years ago. I was 21 years old and single; and my father bought me a rose with a card to let me know just how near and dear to his heart I was. I still have the rose. Little did I know it would be the last Valentines Day I would get to spend with him. We didn't realize it at the time, but his cancer was spreading throughout his body and withing 1 1/2 months, he was gone. I love the rose and card, not only because they are wonderful keep sakes from my dad, but they also represent selfless, random acts of love that weren't given out of duty but out of giddy happiness!!! Happy Valentines to everyone :)
