About the Store

Whole Foods Market on Prospect Street has been your community grocery store since 1979.

About Charitable Donations

Caring for our communities and the environment is a core value of Whole Foods Market.  To this end, we are happy to support non-profit organizations and charities whose mission aligns with ours. We receive many more requests for donations than we can fulfill. Preference is given to organizations working on issues related to food, hunger/food justice, health and nutrition, sustainability, agriculture, and environmental stewardship, as well as education on any of these. We are primarily interested in making in-kind donations to fundraisers or special events, where our donation can be leveraged to help raise funds or draw attention to issues. Requests should be submitted 60 days prior to the expected date of the donation

All donations must be submitted via our website. Navigate to and select the Prospect Street store to fill out a brief request form. You'll be asked to upload a 501(c)3 determination letter from the IRS. If we are still considering donation requests for the period of time your donation is in, we will follow up with a more detailed donation request form via email. Donation requests are not accepted by phone or in person; dropping off paper documents at the customer service booth does not constitute a completed request.
