Fitness professional Ben Biondi will be applying his 20 years of restaurant experience to meal prep as fitness and sports nutrition professional Tony Acevedo talks about macro and micro nutrients and the basic foundation healthy eating.  Questions are welcome!  The meals will all be sampled along with one of Tony's healthy shakes. Attendees will get 3 meal prep recipes and a 3 day Unlimited Pass to Kicked Up Fitness & Performance.

Alba is a cooking instructor and personal chef specializing in southern Italian and Mediterranean cuisine in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Her recipes are rustic, simple and vibrant in taste.
Tapas are small plates of assorted scrumptious food that originated in Andalusia Spain.  They are served before dinner in restaurants and bars as appetizers to whet the appetite.  Today tapas dishes are known and enjoyed internationally. Why not create fun, delicious, and simple to make vegan tapas?  Here are some of Chef Alba’s favorite vegan recipes for us to make in class; Crostini with Tuscan Kale and Sliced Garlic, Baked Eggplant with Date Molasses, Spinach with Chickpeas and Spices, and Roasted Patatas Bravas.  By the way if you are a vegetarian or non-vegan, you can also enjoy these delightful dishes!

Rich in culture and food history, the nations on the shores of the brilliant azure Mediterranean Sea have all contributed something special to the colorful, vibrant tapestry that is Mediterranean cuisine.  Learn and indulge in making recipes such as Pita Bread Crostini with Zaatar Spices, Chickpea Swiss Chard Stew in 7-spice Blend, Moroccan Chicken Lemon and Olives in 5-spice Blend, and Exotic Sesame Coated dates in Spices and Rosewater. We will be making our own spice blends and receive a chart of most commonly used spices and their uses.
