Plant Based Perfection: Root Vegetable Renaissance- SOLD OUT!

Now that we’re in the thick of winter, it’s time to embrace the vegetable underground- root vegetables! These versatile, flavorful and healthful taproots and tubers can be cooked 101 ways and made into many delicious, hearty, satisfying, yet healthy dishes. Chef Rachel will guide you through the many different types of root vegetables and how to clean them, peel them, prep them and cook them by many different methods. She’ll show you her favorite flavors to match with each root vegetable, from the mild celery root to the assertive radish. This class is vegan and gluten free. This is a demonstration style cooking class. Pre-registration is required. On the menu:

Holiday Cookie Party- SOLD OUT!

This class will be taught by Chef Ani. Close out the year with an evening of baking fun with Chef Ani! In this sweets focused cooking class, we’ll go through some of everyone’s favorite holiday cookies, discuss different cookie mixing, baking and icing methods, and whip up enough cookies for you to delight your office, family, friends or neighbors with your holiday treats. Dinner will not be served during class, but you will be tasting and taking home a good deal of cookies (and extra dough for future baking), so please plan accordingly. Pre-registration is required. Introduction to Healthier Eating, Omnivore Edition- ONE OPEN SPOT!

This class will be taught by Chef Ani. If your goal for 2019 is to get in the kitchen and whip up easy, balanced meals using nutrient rich whole foods, this is the class for you! Changing your eating habits can be tricky, but becomes a whole lot easier when you’ve got the skills and great recipes for healthy-eating staples like whole grains, lean proteins and seasonal vegetables. Chef Ani has cracked the code on healthy eating for home cooks by balancing solid nutrition with recipes that come together quickly and are, most importantly, delicious. In this class, we’ll discuss how to set yourself up for success by meal planning, batch cook and build a balanced plate, how to use healthy ingredients such as fresh herbs, spices, citrus and vinegar to season your food to reduce salt and fat in your diet, and how to create flavorful meals that anyone in your family would love, whether they know the dishes are healthy or not, morning, noon and night. This class has gluten-free options upon request (please specify when registering) and hands-on opportunities as desired. Pre-registration is required. On the menu:
