Learn to Be Lean: An Introductions to Delicious Dinners- SOLD OUT!

This class is the third of three in the Learn to Be Lean Healthy Cooking Series. It will be taught by Chef Ani and Shannon Leavitt. Shannon is the author of “Learn to Be Lean: A Yoga-Based Approach to Healthy Weight Loss” and the owner of Yogalift®. She is a Registered Dietitian, NASM certified personal trainer, yoga instructor and health coach. During her 30 years of experience in the fitness industry Shannon has learned the ins and outs of eating like a pro and understands the importance of learning to prepare meals that are both healthy AND satisfying. In this three week series, Chef Ani and Shannon will show you how to plan and prepare your meals around protein and produce for lower-carb, nutrient rich meals. This approach to healthy eating emphasizes balanced meals that include a wide variety of foods that are mindfully planned, prepared and enjoyed. In today’s class, we’ll focus on creating healthy meals for dinner, including raw and cooked vegetables, a variety of protein sources, and whole grains. Eating well can be quick and easy, with tools like the Instantpot to help you cook once and eat well for many meals. This class is gluten free can have vegetarian options available upon request (please specify when registering). This class cannot offer vegan options. Please note that while this class is part of a series, and it would be most beneficial to attend all three classes, you can attend just 1 or 2 as your schedule allows. Seafood Smorgasbord: Fantastic Finfish- SOLD OUT!

TThis class will be taught by Chef Jeremy. Some of my most popular menu items over the years have been ocean fish, however they can be some of the most intimidating to prepare, and the really good stuff can come with a higher price tag. Chef Jeremy is an expert at preparing fin-fish of all types and sizes! Using a selection of fish from our superlative seafood counter, he’ll show you foolproof ways to prepare delicious seafood-focused dishes that you can enjoy preparing in the comfort of your very own home. Together we will learn how skin and bone a side of salmon, prepare the perfect tuna tartare and everything in between! Come join us for this seafood smorgasbord featuring the world’s finest finfish. This class is pescatarian (no animal proteins except fish) with gluten free options available upon request (please specify when registering). Due to the seasonality of fresh seafood, and the array of new options that become available at our Seafood counter, this menu is subject to change due to availability. Pre-registration is required.   • Real Caviar with Blinis, Crème Fraiche and Fresh Dill

The Kids Kitchen Camp Goes to Mexico (Wednesday Session)- TWO OPEN SPOTS!

This class will be taught by Chef Ani. School may be out, but it’s never a bad time to learn about history, geography, art, language and more…especially if you get to eat your homework! In this fun class, we’ll learn all about the history of Mexico, culture and cuisine. We’ll learn all about the ingredients that go into Mexican foods, the different cooking methods behind them, and taste all sorts of delicious things! This class can be vegetarian upon request (please specify when registering). Classes are suitable for kids ages 5-12, and are drop off classes- kids only please! Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Pre-registration is required. On the menu:

  • Pineapple Cucumber Aqua Fresca
  • Fresh Guacamole
  • Salsa Cantina (Cooked Tomato Salsa)
  • Fresh Flour Tortillas
  • Grilled Chicken and Vegetable Tacos
